Root Canal Treatment

As our clinical priority at Alpha Dental Care is on saving teeth wherever possible, root canal treatment presents an opportunity to do this.

At an initial consultation, we assess the affected tooth and discuss our optimal choice of the dental care plan for you. If there is a good chance of saving the tooth, we may recommend a course of endodontic treatment such as a root canal.

During the procedure, the dentist removes infected or damaged tissue, cleanses the area, and seals it to prevent further infection. It is a pain-relieving, tooth-saving treatment that should be no more uncomfortable than getting a filling.

Although a root canal procedure has a bad reputation from fears over how painful it is, to concerns over its costs, it is not always the case. You might be surprised to find out they're not as bad as you think. Our patient-centred approach will prioritise your comfort and well-being at every turn.
