Crowns & Bridges

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a damaged or cracked tooth to restore its strength, shape, and appearance. At Alpha Denture Care, we often use crowns to protect teeth that have undergone root canal treatment, to cover large fillings or improve the appearance of discoloured or damaged teeth. A crown can increase the strength of a weakened tooth, drastically lowering the chance of fracture. 

Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth where you have a gap in the mouth. The bridge is affixed to either your existing teeth or implants that have been placed on either side of the space. This bridge keeps the teeth from drifting and helps to achieve a stable bite.
